About the LPSA
The LPSA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing inclusive, community-based sport opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities. Our mission is to promote health, confidence, and social connection through adaptive powerchair sports that are accessible to everyone, regardless of experience or ability level.
We supply all equipment, including powerchairs
All programs are free of charge and open to everyone

Powerchair Hockey 2025
Powerchair Hockey is a fast, skill-based team sport designed for individuals who use power wheelchairs. Players compete using lightweight plastic sticks to pass, shoot, and score with a wiffle ball, following modified floor hockey rules that ensure safety, inclusion, and excitement for athletes of all ability levels. Players may either hold their stick or have it securely attached to their chair, depending on their mobility and preference.

Powerchair soccer 2026
Powerchair Soccer is a fast-paced and highly strategic adaptive sport designed for individuals who use power wheelchairs. Players compete in teams using specially designed foot guards, or “bumpers,” that attach to their chairs to pass, dribble, and shoot an oversized soccer ball into the opposing team’s net.

BOCCIA 2026
Boccia is a precision ball sport designed for individuals with physical disabilities that affect motor skills, coordination, or mobility. The game is played indoors on a smooth, flat surface where athletes use soft leather balls to get as close as possible to a white target ball called the jack. Players can throw, kick, or use assistive devices such as ramps to deliver the ball, ensuring full accessibility for all participants.
